What types of energy are provided for the office?

The main energy provided for office is the electricity, besides that is the natural gas, heating service and etc. It mainly consisted of three types: the electricity generated from fossil fuel, nuclear or green energy sources. The term Green energy is used to describe sources of energy which are considered environmentally friendly and non-polluting. These green energy technologies range from solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity/micro hydro, biomass and biofuels for transportation.

In some countries such as the Netherlands, electricity companies guarantee to buy an equal amount of 'green power' as is being used by their green power customers. The Dutch government exempts green power from pollution taxes, which means green power is hardly any more expensive than other power.
