To Code Geass’s credit, they do try to justify his actions by saying that he wants to change Britannia from within but as I stated previously, Suzaku has the brain intelligence of a fetus so this plan really makes no sense to me. I actually find it laughable people compare this to Death Note when L was actually a much smarter character and knew deep down that Light was Kira. To be fair though, this show actually still could be worse. He still preferred blondes. They just make Lelouch seem cool while Suzaku is stupid and this battle doesn’t work because Suzaku is such a poorly written character. The character designs aren’t actually that good. I just wish it was actually a good show and that makes me sad. It’s a bad series because while it had cool ideas, it wasn’t written well and a lot of it had no thought put into it despite having a few good moments. My real problem though with this cliffhanger is that Suzaku is such a bad foil for Lelouch. The problem is that it’s executed terribly. Before the big moment with Euphemia, it’s hysterical these people have the audacity to make us watch them randomly throw a pizza festival in front of us. We also have a dumb moment where these people are too stupid to notice Euphemia wearing a hat
