1. Alternatives like fixed wifi spots

2. Smartphones are more expensive then simple phones

3. People don’t want to get familiar with the more “complex” technology of smartphones

4. Going online takes a lot out of the battery of your mobile phone

5. More people are using laptops, making it obsolete to use their mobile phone for the internet

6. Costs are still relatively high for mobile internet usage
