Mobile Commerce (also known as m-commerce) is the ability to conduct commerce, using a mobile device e.g. a mobile phone, a PDA, a smartphone while on the move, and other emerging mobile equipment, like dashtop mobile devices. Products and services available consist of: Mobile ticketing, Mobile Vouchers/Coupons/Loyalty Cards, content purchase and delivery, location based services, information services, mobile banking, mobile brokerage, mobile auctions, mobile purchasing, mobile marketing and advertising, and mobile gaming. The main payment methods used to enable mobile commerce are:

* premium-rate calling numbers,
* charging to the mobile telephone user's bill or
* deducting from their calling credit.
* registration of a credit card that is linked to a SIM card.
