Description

The definition of mobility can be:the quality of moving freely.

Since the development of technology,such as ICT(information and communication technology),and economic globalization,people are more and more capable of and are willing to moving from one place to another, both temperarily and permantantly. High mobility can be that people would spend more time on travelling by air/train/bus,this would probably increase the demand for mobile devices such as mobilephones, laptops. As the users of mobile devices increase, there would be more needs on internet TV or mobile TV in order to get entertainment during their journey.High mobility also can be seen as people would move to other countries and stay there for a long time. These people who live far from their hometown would eager to get news/movies/tv programs from their own country and this kind of need can only be satisfied by internet TV or IPTV that do not have limitation on geographic boundary.

-Wireless technology free people from restraints of their location,people can communicate anywhere anyway.
-Laptops,mobilephones,mp3/mp4 are designed to be smaller, easy to take and easy to use.

-It allows people to travel around the world with safty, comfort and speed.

  • Globalization

-Increasing collaboration across countries makes people to be used to travel and cmmunicate with people from different culture.
-People can get information, news, advertisment,movies without the limit of geographic boundary.

Inhibitors

  • Regulations on immigrant/travel

-People need to apply visa in order to enter countries legally.

  • The differentiation of culture

-People under some culture are not willing to go out of their country, or only affiliate with people with same background.

  • The language barrier

-It will block people to communicate with people using different language. People who only know their mother tongue would have difficulty to move to other countries.

Paradigms

The development of ground and air transportation enable people to travel further distance, so that people get broader horizon of the world we live in.The high-speed development of ICT free people from restraints of their location, and makes it convenient to exchange thoughts, opinions, and feelings.
People nowadays are more willing to cooperate with other people who are from different culture, speak different language since the exchange enhance their flexibility, learning capacity and richer experience.
Higher mobility changes the way of entertainment. In the past, newspaper and magazines,television, broadcast and cinema are the major way that people enjoy their pastime, but these days, more and more people would like to use mobile devices for entertainment. Through the mobile devices and service, people can get plenty of contents anytime anywhere, as well as getting more control on both programs and watching style.
