Understanding the World Today

This project, from the Global Social Change Research Project presents reports describing global social , political, demographic, technological and economic change. For example, one demographic change is that the developing world is becoming a larger and larger proportion of the world population. Another trend is toward more and more freedom throughout the world.

Beyond Economic Growth

This report has chapters on development, world population growth, economic development, income inequality, poverty, education, health and longevity, urbanization, globalization, foreign aid, and climate change.

The Population Reference Bureau (PRB)

The PRB has a lot of population reports for example, An Urbanizing World, Global Aging, Global Demographic Divide, Population: A Lively Introduction, and Transitions in World Population.
