Mobility is waiting in the traffic jams
It is now 2008 we all think that we live in a mobile world, but the time we spent waiting in traffic jams and in the airports keeps on growing and is relatively unused, since the only thing most of the employees can do during that waiting is just making some phone calls.

There are plenty of technical innovations on the topic of out-of-the office working done the last years, but the usability is very low; only the IT professionals are able to use some of them.

How to beat the traffic?
It is now the year 2010, many people start finding ways of avoiding the increasing traveling time; unfortunately only a few manage to travel less and work with the still relatively new technologies for working at home. The traffic jams therefore keep on increasing.

Usability breakthrough
Many companies spent many hours on improving the usability of the mobile working technology. In 2012 this finally reaches success; researchers show that the technology is now able to provide a decent working environment everywhere, against little trouble setting it up.

The only thing missing is users right now. Most employees are reluctant to switch to the new technologies since they are afraid of change; the traffic jams keep on increasing.

The roads are jammed!
Mobility does not exist anymore in 2015; all roads are jammed, thus people start searching for alternatives again. The recent breakthrough in usability now achieves its results. People start using these new technologies at all places but the office. This causes a steep decline of both the office usage and the amount of traffic jams in the next few years.

In 2019 the roads are becoming more mobile again, but on the other hand the offices seem to be quite empty. Most offices are filled for less then 50%, what in turn leads to a new development: shared offices. Companies now rent an office for only the half of the time; so they can share the buildings with other companies!
