Smaller and bigger networks compete for being the fastest on the market. Companies learned since 2015 about the necessity of a more organized innovation process. For this reason, at this point, they <b>focus more than ever on the implementation </b>side of innovations and less on the supply side of new ideas. Because new ideas come from everywhere. Digital tools allow companies to easily filter the valuable ones from the less valuable. <b> Having the gold idea is not the competitive advantage anymore. To survive this battle the big old companies want to buy the new guys in town. However - this is not as easy as it used to be in the past, given the fact that the new entrepreneurs have the speed advantage - which is the new ultimate competitive advantage in this era. They believe they can be better off without money from the "empires".
