The Limit to Growth study published by the Club of Rome in 1972 says that there is a limit to growth of the human population. Some argue that we have already reached this limit. We reviewed the population growth over the past 150 years. We noticed that the world population is growing, however the growth rate is declining from its maximum in 1960.

Avg growth rate of change World-0.0213% Africa-0.0096% Asia-0.0305% Europe-0.0215% Latin America-0.0313% North America-0.0045% Oceania -0.0200%

According to this change in growth rate the population growth rate is slowing all over the world. If the growth rate continues to slow the growth rate will be negative by 2060.

Population in 2030 7.9 billion
