Increase in travel infrastructure in China

Description:

As China grows more prosperous and to help increase the economic growth there has been an increase in the development of transportation infrastructure within the country.

Enablers:

  1. Continued economic growth in China: As communication spreads within the country so will new ideas, leading people to question the current system.
  2. Increased need for workers in industrial areas: There is a strong need to get workers to the factories and this will lead to improvements in infrastructure to ensure this can happen.
  3. The world economic downturn: To keep the economy running and growing, the Chinese government can keep the economy running through large public works, such as infrastructure.

Inhibitors:

  1. Increasing American Debt: As China owns much of the American debt, if the US defaults, China may no longer be able to afford the massive infrastructure projects.
  2. Advances in Teleportation technology: Conventional transportation no longer necessary.

Paradigms:

As people have increased ability to move around, there will be an increase in the amount of infomration shared across the country. It will make censorship more difficult to maintain. It may have an affect on changing the culture within the country, as it errods centuries of tradition and causes people of different regions to interact with one another.
