Description' The US has woken up from its slumber after the impact of hurrican Katrina. It took long for effected countries in Asia to build back from the devastation caused by Tsunami.Europe has not had a serious impact, but the world has woken up to the potential effects of climate change and global warming. Scientists have been pointing out for some time the effects of global warming in terms of shrinking Himalayan glaciers and rising sea levels. Is the world and most importantly the EU / Europe in this case prepared for any natural disasters that could be an outcome of climate change. One theory that is floating around is an increase in ocean level would consume most of Netherlands by the year 2030. These may just be rumours, but what could happen if such a scenario turns into reality.
