Description:=

In our web regulated society, consumers are increasingly demanding regarding the speed of delivery of both services and products. Goods ordered today are expected to be delivered within days. If a seller cannot gaurantee express delivery, consumers will reconsider purchasing such service or good.

Enablers:

  1. E-commerce
  2. More international offering of product
  3. Need for information
  4. Tecnological developments

Inhibitors:

  1. Pricing
  2. The financial crisis
  3. Need for cheapest service/product
  4. Quality of goods

Paradigms:

With the rise of e-commerce, consumers have become more demanding with respect to delivery of goods and services. Goods being easily purchasable, people expect availability (real time) to be of the same speed. In the fast moving society everything, goods and services included, need to be present if and when requested.

Experts:

  1. Logisticians
  2. Economists
  3. Consultants (consumer behaviorists)
