The key uncertainties we found after analyzing the systems diagram are:
- Economic Growth
- Globalization
- Grid Technology Availability, concerning:
- Open Standard
- Cost of Grid Infrastructure
- Availability of Mature Scheduling & Encyption Algorithms
- Competition / Players in this area
- Individual End User Attitudes (towards Privacy Issue, etc)
- Development of Substitution Technologies (super computers, clusters, parallel computing, distributed computing,etc)
We are going to use Economic Growth and Grid Technoloy Availability as the main two dimensions of scenarios, with major consideration of Development of Substitution Technologies as the third dimension and all the other uncertainties taken into account.
