As the domestic subscriber is saturated, operators want to expand their service in global. SKT developed global market in Mongol, Vietnam, UK, America, China etc. Globalization includes various actions such as foundation of local company, purchase of stock, consulting and construct network, platform sales, etc.

2006: SKT established a joint venture company, Helio with EarthLink, an Internet service provider (ISP) in the U.S in 2006.
2005: KTF took the partnership with NTT DoCoMo for Promotion of W-CDMA in Dec 2005.
2004: SKT and China Unicom established a joint venture company in Feb, 2004.
2003: KTF invested $10 million in Indonesia's ‘PT Mobile-8 Telecom’ in Oct 2003.
