16. How mature is Korean/Global IT Environment?

Many are repeating the bright side of Wibro but the opposite side comments are very serious.

There are two factor for maturity; Infra and Market.

IT Environment side of view, Korean IT infra is enogh to accomodate Wibro is ready. The VoIP is alreay commercialized and the chance of convergence with other services is very high. These are very bright side of market size and ARPU both.

But the market/customer point of view;

At the Wibro market saturation time, the research results said that 9.4M users are expected and it's the simular market size of current xDSL in Korea.

But, the market demand is not clear. Second, the huge investment is needed and Third, Wibro is facing with the substitues. The customer needs feasibility, fancy terminal, low fee and reliable service quality. If they had to carry serveral terminal in their bag, it's impossible being popular like mobile phone service.
