Leadership in Sustainability

Description:

Individuals, organizations, and/or businesses that pioneer ideas, technology and/or business processes regarding sustainability issues. These persons/groups are implementing, shaping and changing the future of sustainability

Enablers:

a) Any person/group can become leader and promoter of sustainability
b) Popularity has a multiplier effect on issue

Inhibitors:

a) Public scrutiny
b) Lack of resources available at initial conception
c) Synergy of efforts

Paradigms:

Leaders shape the discussion and shape events regarding sustainability. They provide examples for people to mimic. Leaders inspire and encourage people to accomplish difficult activities.
